Fashion sense here in Taiwan is incredibly absent, and no one seems to notice. The latest trend that can be seen on every respectable Asian female is Daisy Duke short shorts paired with several scanty tops layered together(which simply succeed in revealing a little bit of everything), a pair of thigh high fishnet (or other dizzying design) stockings, and heels that scream "Podiatrist! Orthopedics! Emergency!"
Riding the MRT, or any public transport for that matter, is like watching the '80s, a candy shop, and a Victoria's Secret catalog explode at once.
However, holding hands with the opposite sex in public is still the ultimate in taboo.
